Laura, Part 1 (2/17/2010) , my favorite Trini sister-in-law, decked out in her Rubies of Mumbai outfit for carnival. She trained for an entire year just to be able to hold up the weight of that headpiece while wining (the national Trinidad dance) and drinking (the national Carnival sport). Laura. My favorite Trini-based blogger / runner / fashionista. We did the Freezer 5K run in Buffalo a few days before Christmas in 19 Degree (F) weather. It was an awesome time. Laura does everything from making clothes and delicious veggie meals, to dancing wildly to the sounds of Major Lazer. I do not know why she is screaming at the sight of this pineapple… But it makes for a great drawing :)
