Today’s Illustration: Marcianna, pissed off. I was feeling inspired after my visit to Renaissance Tattoo yesterday ( http://rentattoo.com ). Feeding off the energy of Tom, my tattoo artist who was doing a lot of “get it done and out the door type of artwork” who was initially inspired by my process behind my early sketchbooked posts… I decided to clean off my desk and get to some illustratin’.
Here is an piece which is basically my little sister looking mighty pissed off.

Today’s post, Ali Final. I found some time today to finish up and tweak the illustration I started yesterday of my good friend Ali. I have actually drawn portraits of Ali several times during the course of my blog, but I feel this is the best representation I have made to date. Especially since he is holding the highly coveted “Shot in the Dark” hot chocolate / espresso drink from Java Wallys here at RIT. Check out Ali’s work at http://www.alialithinks.com , and his dribbble at: http://www.dribbble.com/alialithinks .
Ali is an amazing designer… We started http://www.dwaiter.com together ( Along w/ Therese Hannigan *Shout out! ), and it’s been sad that since I left, we don’t get to hang out as much. We still catch up now and then with some coffee, and the occasional lunch.
Today’s Post, My Tio Cheo. Every time I visit Puerto Rico, I am greeted by my uncle at the airport. He treats me like a son, even tho we have only spent a week or two in each other’s presence. A strong, and brilliant man, I could only hope to have a fraction of the energy, and liveliness that he possesses at his age. He is pictured here peeling potatoes, yams, and plantains for some of my Tia’s amazing Sancocho. Damn, I am hungry now.
Abeer & Elias Final. A Portrait for My friend Ali and his family. This is his wife and 1st born child.
Final Fathers’ Day Piece.
My Cousin Stephanie Part 1 (3/2/2010). I want to write more, and have a colored piece… but I am stressed for time… So here is part 1…
My little Sister, Marciana (2/27/2010). My 9 year old sister, she is growing up to be such an amazing person. She loves to draw, read, play with littlest petshop, and make mini stop motion films that I help out with and put up on the internets for her. You can check out her directorial debut here and here.
Tina and Lily (2/19/2010). This is my cousin Tina, and her beautiful daughter Lily!
